The ASER report of 2012 published by Pratham has extensively analyzed the status of RTE implementation across India. A majority of schools have failed to set up the basic infrastructure by March 31, 2013 as stipulated by the RTE Act 2009. The RTE act appears to ensure right to schooling but not right to real education.
